Hello and welcome to Rendang & Rice!

My name is Tina and together with my husband, Steven, and daughters, Tamsin and Sophie, we host supper clubs and run a takeaway service in Devon. The aim is to bring authentic Malaysian food to the South West and make the most of the fresh local produce.

I am a self-taught cook hailing from Ipoh, Malaysia. I went on to train at Leith’s School of Food and Wine and subsequently amassed a family of obsessed foodies. I spend many of my waking hours thinking about my next meal while I am already eating. Like most Malaysians, eating is a favourite pastime and the traditional greetings of ‘Hello’ or ‘How are you?’ to friends and family is more likely to come out as ‘Have you eaten?’
